Volt keeps people connected at festivals all over Europe and we are determined to deliver the best charging solution available. We are expanding rapidly and therefore we are now looking for a creative and skilled full stack web developer to join the team.
We offer:
The work is varied and covers both frontend and backend development. You must be fluent in HTML/CSS, Javascript, PHP and SQL. Moreover knowledge in the following technologies would make us jump up and down: CodeIgniter, PrestaShop, Bootstrap 3, BackboneJS, Git, Responsive Design, Automated tests and deployments.
Among other things you will:
� Optimise the user experience of our website and the booking process.
� Implement new features in our existing REST based APIs for external partners.
� Develop system integrations to achieve a higher degree of automatisation.
� Implement new features in our point of sale system used at the festivals.
� Develop mobile web apps in BackboneJS for internal use.
� Assist the marketing team with data insights by writing awesome SQL.
We expect:
� Solid object oriented coding skills in PHP.
� Knowledge of MVC principles.
� Mastering CSS and jQuery.
� Understanding of database design principles and know your way around powerful SQL queries.
� Speak English and/or Danish fluently.
� A true team player, and a positive contribution to our team and culture.
� Love music festivals and has been living the full festival experience at least once.
The position is 15-20 hours / 2-3 days per week with the work load ramping up as we approach the festival season. Perfect as a job besides your study!
