Kombio is a fast moving, award-winning start up business that focuses on revolutionizing the way science is taught to students all over the world. Our platform is based on a Virtual Lab where students can work with real-life challenges in an environment that simulates reality. Think of it as an addictive adventure game spiced up with theoretical material, quiz-questions and cool 3D animations that makes students crave more and pass exams in the cool way. We are looking for a Communication Coordinator to help with a number of tasks. If you can say YES to the following, you are the one we are looking for.
Can you say YES to this?
Marketing
Do you want to help us understanding potential markets in the US and EU? Are you fearless of calling and writing people across the ocean? Can you write emails that will catch the attention of the recipient? Do you like to do market research?
Fundraising
Do you have a natural talent for writing convincing applications? Are you good at English - written and spoken? Do you have the skills to vacuum the web for any interesting funding opportunity we might apply for?
Communication
Are you extremely organized? Do you have a natural positive state of mind, and do you love to do relaxed networking? Do you want to help with writing press releases, setting up meetings, updating our website, manage our product focus groups and other practical stuff?
Customer support and product development
Do you want to conduct testing activities, where collecting user feedback to improve our product will be among your main tasks? Do you have knowledge of interview techniques? Do you love to help and support people?
Your first assignments
Right now, we are doing the first research of the US, Sweden and German market potential. Through our network and universities in these countries, we want to establish contact and present our product to minimum 50 teachers/professors involved in introductory biotechnology. Furthermore, we want to understand the costs of teaching biotechnology in average Danish and Swedish high school. You will help us reach these goals.
Where you will work
We have our main office in a great an inspiring and ambitious tech startup community called "Founders House" in Boltens Gaard, right at Kongens Nytorv. Working with us will for sure expand your network, and you will get to know some of the coolest people among entrepreneurs!
Work hours
Work hours is highly flexible for most tasks. Though min. 15 hours totally pr. week.
How do to apply
You should include a motivational letter, your CV and grades. Please indicate in which areas (Fundraising/Communication/Marketing/Customer Support/Development) you have your strengths, and why. You will start working with us as soon as possible - hopefully before the 5th of March!
